“Since we rolled out an updated version of our logo last week on our website, we’ve seen an outpouring of comments from customers and the online community in support of the iconic blue box logo.

“Last week, we moved to address the feedback and began exploring how we could tap into all of the passion. Ultimately, we’ve learned just how much energy there is around our brand. All roads were leading us back to the blue box, so we’ve made the decision not to use the new logo on gap.com any further.

This is an interesting example of how new isn't always better. Coke learned this concept many years ago with "New Coke". There is something to be said for a classic brand.

At a work event to celebrate Barbie's new career: Computer Engineer, Mattel sent us swag, some of which were stickers that read "Glam is my Operating System". I had to laugh..absurd but cute at the same time! <3

Walk the Slank™

A package arrived at my front door...what could this be, I thought to myself. After close inspection I noticed the Slanket logo on the box. After getting over the initial excitement my brain began to search my mental contacts for who could have been responsible for this toasty gift. I immediately thought back to a conversation I had with my long distance friend Brandy about her wonderfully warm and awesome Slanket. And here was mine...all ready for me to snuggle in and enjoy. I love friends who surprise you in a good way.....oh boy, do I love my Slanket.
